Baby Names
I need your help with a new baby-naming book:
Will Your Baby Like Its Name?
Grown-Ups Speak Out About What Their Parents Named Them
Will Your Baby Like Its Name? reveals what adults think about the names their
parents gave them. Unfortunately, parents can't ask their newborns if they would like to
be called Jennifer, Roger, Trisha, Melvin, Daphne or Hope. If they could, many of us might
have been given different names.
I would like your views on your own name, as an adult.
In particular, could you tell me:
1) Do you like your first name? Why, or why not?
2) What are your nicknames, and do you like them?
3) Have you had any difficulty with your name?
4) Would you prefer to have been given a different name, and if so, what would that have
been?
I would like to hear what you have to say about the name your parents picked for you.
By way of introduction, I am a book publisher and the author of over a dozen books
including, Baby-English: A Dictionary for Interpreting the Secret Language of Infants,
Outwitting Toddlers, Outwitting
Squirrels, Outwitting Deer, 365 Things To
Do With Your Kids Before They're Too Old to Enjoy Them, and Tell Me a Fairy Tale.
You can email me your response or fax it to: 202-986-9485. If you have any questions about the book, please let me know. I couldn't write Will Your Baby Like Its Name? without your help!
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Bill
